Lawrence Subaru will host its Pack the Outback Toy Drive to support the Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia Chapter. The toy drive will take place Nov. 15 through Dec. 6, accompanied by a community-wide celebration of wishes on Dec. 6 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Pack the Outback event kicks off the 11th annual Subaru Share the Love Event which runs Nov. 15, 2018, through Jan. 2, 2019. During this time, for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased, Subaru will donate $250 to a participating national or local charity chosen by the purchaser or lessee.

Make-A-Wish America is one of the four national charities chosen, for the eighth consecutive year. Retailers can select hometown charity partners from their local community in which customers can direct their support. Lawrence Subaru graciously selected Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia for its hometown charity and will match Subaru of America’s donation to the chapter. The Share the Love Event provides Subaru lovers the opportunity to transform the life of a child battling a critical illness through a wish come true. Last year alone, Subaru donated more than $2.9 million to Make-A-Wish. Over the past 10 years, the annual holiday event has raised $118 million for benefiting charities.

“Make-A-Wish is thrilled to partner with Lawrence Subaru’s entire team once again this year,” said Ann Waltman, regional director for the York office. “Their generous support through the Subaru Share the Love Event for the past three years has meant the world to us. We invite the community to get in on the fun this year, and join us on December 6, at our Celebration of Wishes event and help us Pack the Outback.”
