Main Street Hanover celebrates National Small Business Week

April 29, 2016 – Hanover - Main Street Hanover and the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce are celebrating this year’s National Small Business Week from May 1-7, 2016. Every year since 1963, the U.S. Small Business Administration takes the opportunity to highlight the impact of outstanding entrepreneurs, small business owners, and others from across the nation through National Small Business Week.
In his proclamation for National Small Business Week, at the April 27th Borough Council Meeting, Mayor Ben Adams proclaimed, “The Borough of Hanover supports and joins in this national effort to help America’s small businesses do what they do best - grow their business, create jobs, and ensure that our communities remain as vibrant tomorrow as they are today.”
With this year’s theme being “Dream Big, Start Small,” we look are looking forward to supporting the Hanover Area’s small businesses, encourage entrepreneurs,and spreading some important information about starting your own small business.

Main Street Hanover is a collaborative effort between Hanover Borough, Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce, Partnership for Economic development of York County, and York County Economic Alliance. The mission of Main Street Hanover is to expand the economic capacity of downtown Hanover, thus improving the business environment, enhancing the quality of place, and increasing community synergy.
