Main Street Hanover Releases FY24–25 Annual Report Highlighting Growth, Impact, and Community Engagement

Hanover, PA – Main Street Hanover is proud to release its July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025, Annual Report, celebrating a year of revitalization, strategic growth, and powerful community partnerships. From record-breaking event attendance to new business openings and expanded marketing reach, the organization’s efforts continue to shape a thriving and vibrant downtown Hanover.

Executive Director Moriah Tyler remarked, “As we close out Fiscal Year 2024–2025, I’m incredibly proud of all we’ve accomplished together in downtown Hanover. This year brought new energy, strong partnerships, and continued momentum—from growing our 2nd Saturdays program to launching fresh initiatives that support our local businesses and community. I’m grateful to everyone who has contributed their time, resources, and passion to our shared vision.

Key FY24–25 Highlights Include:

  • 18 new businesses opened downtown

  • Over 6,100 attendees at downtown events

  • 554+ volunteer hours donated (valued at $17,000)

  • 21 Hometown Hero banners installed

  • 95,280 accounts reached through digital marketing with 487,150 total impressions

  • Monthly newsletter engagement from over 1,300 subscribers

  • Featured coverage in four local magazines

Main Street Hanover also extended its reach across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia with targeted tourism advertising and developed cornerstone events like the 2nd Saturdays series and Christmas in Hanover, both of which offered residents and visitors consistent opportunities to explore, shop, and celebrate in the downtown.

Revenue Sources:

  • Bequest: 59.2%

  • Our bequest was responsibly invested to support long-term sustainability, and a portion of that funding includes interest income earned from our investment.
  • Borough Funding: 15.1%

  • Grants: 8.2%

  • Programs & Beautification: 6.8%

  • Christmas in Hanover: 2.1%
  • Sponsorships: 5.7%

  • Donations: 2.9%

Expenses:

  • Operations: 69.2%

  • Operations expenses cover rent, office needs, insurance, memberships, professional services, trainings, education, and staff compensation to support our daily functions and long-term sustainability.
  • Christmas Programming: 15.1%

  • Programs & Beautification: 10.4%

  • Advertising: 5.4%

The Annual Report also outlines upcoming sponsorship opportunities for FY25–26, including support for monthly 2nd Saturdays and Christmas in Hanover. Sponsorship tiers offer community partners brand visibility, engagement tools, and meaningful ways to invest in Hanover’s continued growth.
