Throughout her time in office, she has focused on promoting efficient, fiscally responsible government while advocating for policies that prioritize taxpayers and strengthen local communities.
During the current legislative session, Rep. Klunk serves as the Republican Chair of the House Children and Youth Committee and is a member of the House Ethics, Judiciary, and Rules committees. She also serves as co-chair of the bipartisan, bicameral Anti-Human Trafficking Caucus, established in 2026.
Rep. Klunk advocates for policies that restore fiscal discipline, support business growth and job creation, provide meaningful property tax relief, oppose unnecessary tax increases, improve educational opportunities, preserve Pennsylvania’s agricultural heritage, and protect private property rights. She is committed to representing the priorities of the families, businesses, and communities of southern York County in Harrisburg.
Before serving in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Rep. Klunk gained experience in both government and the private sector. She worked at the White House under President George W. Bush as a member of the National Economic Council, where she researched and prepared national economic policy briefings for senior staff, and later served on the President’s communications team. Earlier in her career, she interned for Congressman Todd Platts, gaining firsthand insight into issues affecting Pennsylvanians.
A graduate of Hanover Senior High School, where she was the Class of 2000 valedictorian, Rep. Klunk attended Dickinson College on an academic scholarship. While earning degrees in economics, history, and public policy studies, she worked multiple jobs—including at Utz Quality Foods—to help finance her education. She graduated cum laude before earning her Juris Doctor from The Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University.
As an attorney in private practice, Rep. Klunk advised small businesses, individuals, educational institutions, and corporations on employment matters, providing her with firsthand experience of how government policies and regulations affect employers and taxpayers.
Rep. Klunk is also a graduate of the Anne B. Anstine Excellence in Public Service Series, a leadership program that encourages Republican women to pursue roles in government, politics, and community leadership. She has been actively involved in the Hanover community, including serving on the Main Street Hanover Steering Committee and Promotions Committee, where she supported efforts to strengthen the economic vitality of downtown Hanover. She is also a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Hanover.
Through her public service and community involvement, Rep. Klunk remains committed to representing the interests of her constituents while supporting the continued growth and success of the Hanover area.
